Joyfolie has always been one of my favourite brands. I love their shoes, the story behind the company  and the fact that Jessica Haley is a true creative. (Just read her blog for proof.)

Joyfolie's new website launched on Tuesday and I couldn't help buying this gorgeous ruffled capelet for Charlotte.

I'm imagining her having all kinds of fairytale adventures wearing it.

I'm a new 'school mother' and buying school shoes seemed like a slightly daunting task.

I had memories of being fitted during my own school days and knew the importance of proper protection and support for growing feet so I was thrilled when ROC Boots offered to come to our house and fit Hunter for his school and sport shoes.

Here's another magical video I couldn't help but share. Here's a note about how it came to be:

"We were shooting for a commercial with my D.O.P, waiting for an helicopter flying into the sunset, when thousands and thousands of birds came and made this incredible dance in the sky.

It was amazing, we just forgot our job and started this little piece of poetry... Thanks to the birds... (I'm not sure but I think it's starlings.)"
